North America to South America by Motorcycle - The magazine articles
This is a collection of previously published articles by Jeremy Kroeker - the award-winning author of "Motorcycle Therapy" - chronicling his motorcycle journey from Canada to Argentina and back in 2019/2020.
Kroeker, astride his 2016 Kawasaki KLR 650, is joined by his new-ish girlfriend, Elle West, and her 2013 BMW 700 GS.
Will the newly minted bond between the pair survive?
Kroeker and West face exhausting miles, wind storms, financial challenges, and more as they struggle to discover what their relationship is, and what it may become. Then, on the return journey, after a side trip to Antarctica, the pair find themselves stuck in Uruguay for months amidst the strict travel restrictions and border closures of the COVID-19 pandemic.
If this ebook (18,000 words) feels disjointed and raw, that's because it was written on the road. Kroeker had a commitment to contribute monthly dispatches to Canada Moto Guide, and somehow managed to deliver. These are those articles (plus another one written for Motorcycle Mojo Magazine).
Yes, this ebook is raw. One day it may provide the backbone for Kroeker's next book.
But, until then, this collection of articles is all we have to tell the tale.
Videos from this journey (and more) can be found on Kroeker's YouTube channel: @JeremyKroker
